Founded in 2023, Alpha Iota Rho Sorority, Inc.™ was built upon five guiding pillars: Faith, Sisterhood, Professionalism, Service, and Wellness.
Created for women in the aviation industry, we proudly serve both current and retired flight attendants by cultivating a sisterhood where every woman is encouraged to grow, thrive, and become the best version of herself—personally, professionally, and purposefully.

FOUNDER
Stephanie Bond is the Founder and President of Alpha Iota Rho Sorority, Inc.™—a sisterhood divinely inspired and rooted in faith, created to serve women in aviation with love, purpose, and community.
Her love for aviation began at the age of 10, when her aunt took her cousins on a trip to Greece. As she watched them prepare for their journey, something stirred deeply within her spirit. In that moment, she knew—without question—that she was called to become a flight attendant. What began as a childhood dream was, in truth, the planting of a God-given purpose that would unfold over time.
Stephanie’s journey has been shaped by both profound love and deep loss. After the passing of her husband and her son, she faced seasons that tested her faith in unimaginable ways. Yet through every valley, God remained her anchor. Her love for aviation never wavered—it became a place where purpose met healing, and where she was reminded that even in brokenness, God still calls us to rise.
Through it all, she has been blessed with the gift of her other children and grandchildren—beautiful reminders of God’s grace, legacy, and the continuation of love beyond loss.
Led by faith and strengthened by her life experiences, Stephanie founded Alpha Iota Rho as more than an organization—it is a ministry of sisterhood. A sacred space where women in aviation can be covered, supported, and poured into spiritually, emotionally, and professionally. A place where no woman has to journey alone.

PLEDGE, INITIATION, MERCHANDISE & EVENT REFUND POLICY
Alpha Iota Rho Sorority, Inc.™ (AIR/AIP) is committed to fairness, transparency, and preserving the integrity of all organizational processes. Please review the following refund policy carefully before submitting any payments.
1. Pledge / Candidate / Initiation Fees
All fees paid toward the pledge, candidate, membership intake, or initiation process are non-refundable and non-transferable.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Application fees
Intake/pledge fees
Educational materials
Administrative processing fees
Ceremony expenses
Membership onboarding expenses
Initiation fees
If a woman voluntarily withdraws, discontinues participation, becomes inactive, or chooses not to complete the process for any reason, we will not issue a refund.
If Alpha Iota Rho Sorority, Inc.™ removes, dismisses, suspends, or deems a participant ineligible due to conduct, failure to meet standards, policy violations, non-participation, or any decision made in the best interest of the organization, no refund will be issued.
2. Merchandise / Website Purchases
All purchases made through the Alpha Iota Rho website or approved sales platforms are final sale.
This includes:
Apparel
Accessories
Gifts
Custom items
Printed materials
Membership items
Promotional products
Digital products
No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be granted unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or an error was made by the organization.
3. Event Tickets & Registrations
All ticket sales for AIR events are non-refundable.
This includes tickets for:
Galas
Balls
Fundraisers
Workshops
Retreats
Social events
Ceremonies
If a ticket holder cannot attend, tickets may only be transferred if approved in writing by the organization prior to the event.
4. Extenuating Circumstances
Refund requests due to verified extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Alpha Iota Rho Sorority, Inc.™
Examples may include:
Serious medical emergency
Death in immediate family
Natural disaster
Duplicate payment error
Event cancellation by the organization
Supporting documentation may be required.
Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
5. Chargebacks / Payment Disputes
Any unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes filed without first contacting the organization may result in suspension of purchasing privileges, membership review, or additional administrative action.
6. Agreement to Terms
By submitting payment to Alpha Iota Rho Sorority, Inc.™, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this refund policy.
